I work with community groups that are frequently looking to measure air quality - most often particulate matter. What sensors are recommended? (The lower the cost, the better.) Use may be for indoor or outdoor monitoring.

We use purple air monitors. You can find them at Purpleair.com.

I wanted to share this research note from @jiteovien on how to evaluate low cost air monitors.

I've also been looking into this Pocketlab air sensor myself, but haven't had the time to test one yet.

Hi! The EPA also has an Air Sensor Toolbox here: https://www.epa.gov/air-sensor-toolbox

Someone mentioned the PurpleAir, there's more info on that tool here: https://publiclab.org/wiki/purpleair

There's also a lot of info about PM on the PM wiki page: www.publiclab.org/wiki/pm
