Our goal with the spectrometer box design was to welcome people into the Public Lab community and introduce new members to the idea of being part of a collaborative effort.

Looks great! One issue -- the part on the underside of the flap should actually be on the front surface of the bottom part of the box, since that'll be on the printed side of the cardboard.

Did you not like the light bulb? It helps to show what the light source is/could be, and that the waves are light.

Beauty. I expect it might be too expensive to overlay the waves with the corresponding colors? Maybe it could be done at shipping with magic markers.

oh ok -- i had thought that the bottom (and front) of the box would have a printing label on it?

added lightsource, made wavy lines dotted, made "reading lines" with longer dashes. Moved Public Lab logo from inside face to bottom of box. Adjusted Icon hierarchy.

Basically the whole thing folds out of a single sheet of cardboard which is directly printed upon, but only on one side. As a result, not every face can be printed but many can.
