@ag8n just wanted to share this --

https://biohio.com/calendar Lists upcoming events

Let's see if this fits into this page, or perhaps we could find another place for it --

But to note, it does seem that http://biohio.com/calendar is not loading -- am I missing something?

Hi @ag8n and @stefannibrasil ! Just saw this page. Interesting! What's the call for papers? What are we looking to collect here?

Hum, I couldn't access it, @warren maybe the URL isn't correct?

Hi @stevie ! The idea is having a place for Public Lab members to post events that have an open submission to apply so researchers can find more events quickly and increase their publication activity. I think that it can also be a place to discuss ideas and maybe search for a co-author, or something similar.

I just wanted to get something going on this site. If it stays dead, it will be.

Getting published is a hassle. All the editing from co- authors, then reviewers. It can take a while. If there is a way to streamline it, let's try it.

Oh interesting, so you're seeing this as a space to find co-authors and reviewers for white papers or for calls for open submission at conferences? Is that right?

I apologize if I misunderstood. I was going by the description on the "call for papers". I have no expectations, except pragmatism. If you don't list some conferences, try some experiments, write some papers, you don't know how it will work.

HI, @stevie @Ag8n ! At first, for calls for open submission at conferences, yes. Because the public here is mostly researchers, I thought it would be good to have this kind of activity.
