The above image shows the locations of the six poles that Scott Eustis, Zoe Sullivan and I placed in Bayou Sauvage on Thursday, 8.2.12.
The plan for this test was to follow a similar protocol as the first test with some minor changes: http://publiclaboratory.org/notes/shannon/8-2-2012/bayou-sauvage-test-2-protocol. What we ended up doing is the following:
Since we were testing Draeger tubes and the max time on the instructions said 8 hours, we placed all six tubes out between 8:30-9am on Thursday morning (8/2). We decided though to try the Draeger tubes for a longer period and thus are removing the poles in three different sets- two after 8 hours, 2 after 24 hours and 2 after 4 days. Each pole had two canisters and one Draeger tube (top pointing towards the ground on canisters and the tube) taped to it about 11 inches above the ground in the following configuration:

Just a heads up the strips have arrived to providence, I'm trying to find a darkroom in boston where I can fix them. Worst comes to worst I'll head to providence next tuesday and fix them there then.
