Dear friends! I am looking for a base with spectra of polycyclic aromatic hydroharbons. The HITRAN base has no relevant data. Likewise searchlight.semrock.com , spectra.arizona.edu and nightsea.com do not contain PAHs spectra. First, I need EPA PAHs spectra (csv file will be the best solution). Please, give me any information how I can get these data.Thank you in advice!
There is a standard method for PAH analysis in carbon black. It uses soxhlet extraction and visible analysis ( sorry I can't give you the details of the top). But this should get you started. I'll see if I can find the exact method and get back to you.

I see what you mean. The analysis I did was a PNA (polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbon analysis). It's closely related to PAHs. It's still listed on some of the carbon black info sheets. It looks like everyone has switched to Gc-ms, instead of uv-vis.
The method put carbon black in a cellulose soxhlet thimble with a filter on top, then extracted for 24 hours. Sorry, but I don't remember the solvent we used. Then the solvent was filtered and scanned from 400 nm to 700 nm.
We had a reference on file. Since the plant closed, I can't pull that up to help you. Sorry.
