Hi, I have the enclosed image taken with the Mobius Publiclab Camera. I would like to know how to calibrate it for NDVI ? ( It is from a Drone over grove). How to calibrate, calculate the NDVI and show the NDVI Scale. Thx. Dave

Calibration probably requires that your photo includes a target of known spectral reflectivity in the bands that will be used to compute NDVI. More here: https://publiclab.org/notes/nedhorning/07-22-2015/introducing-the-calibration-plugin-for-imagej-fiji

A good way to produce NDVI images is Ned's Photo Monitoring plugin for Fiji: https://publiclab.org/notes/nedhorning/01-13-2016/packaged-photo-monitoring-plugins-available-on-the-github-repositoy

I used Fiji to make this NDVI image:

Dear Chris, Does calibration requires a target of known spectral reflectivity in the same bands that will be used to compute NDVI or it can be tested with any materials like tar paper, red spray or similar as mentioned in the posts uploaded by Ned Horning?
