Need to detect pathogen levels in a 240 cu ft room after it has been subjected to dry fogging using a diluted hydrogen peroxide mixture.

Hi, can you fill us in a bit more on details of your interest and situation? What kinds of pathogens, and what is dry fogging? Sounds interesting!

Dry fog technology utilizes a chemical disinfection process: the system vaporizes the sporicidal chemical, producing very fine droplets of disinfectant which are dispersed throughout a room, without any manual efforts. ... The dry fog solution is evenly and completely dispersed in the room or rooms. We need to be able to determine that the CFU (n microbiology, a colony-forming unit (CFU, cfu, Cfu) is a unit used to estimate the number of viable bacteria or fungal cells in a sample. Viable is defined as the ability to multiply via binary fission under the controlled conditions. ... Expressing results as colony-forming units reflects this uncertainty.) has been reduced to predetermined level of either 3-Log or 6-Log reduction i.e. 99.9% of 99.9999%

Ah, ok -- do you have example images of the kinds of data you'd need to collect, and a pixel/micron resolution you're aiming for?

Also, what kind of fluorescent light would you need?

I'm thinking of whether the Basic Microscope Kit could be helpful:

and also something like this LED light: https://publiclab.org/notes/warren/03-10-2016/honlian-60s-led-nail-polish-hardener-various-led-fluorescence-updates

The basis microscope kit and LED light are interesting but I would also need software which could automatically analyse the results as we cannot have any human intervention

Interesting! Do you have an example to refer to in how an automatic analysis could work?
