C4 is a fine beginner's pre-workout. Doesn't do it for me anymore, and even lower stim pump pre-workouts like Vapour hit harder in my opinion. It's the pre-workout you'll see every young gym beginner take because it sounds cool and has an okay reputation. As far as I know C4 is the basic starter pre-workout.

You need to cycle off of it if you plan to use it regularly. If you never cycle off, you'll get dependent and build a tolerance to stimulants. When cycling off, I would not consume any stims -- that means no coffee, no coke, etc. Personally, I only take preworkout when I'm feeling very fatigued.
