    Notes

This was before oil hit shore -- northward, a kite was used, and southward, a balloon, due to winds.

The boat (a police boat) was contributed by the Lafourche Parish Port Commission.

Oliver Yeh led this trip but several others through the Louisiana Bucket Brigade were there.
