Ultraviolet spectroscopy test at ~350nm

Messing with an ultraviolet LED flashlight and some makeup today, i was able to get reflected/fluoresced light at around 350 nanometers!

Hello Warren,

Nice test! What brand and model of camera did you use? Did you modify it in any way, for example by removing some filters? Also, did you use the regular DVD grating, in transparency mode or in reflection mode?

OK, i had doubted this, so i redid the test with the most recent spectrometer design. It seems OK! I see down to 360, clear!

And compared to the CFL calibration:

Nice!
